Joe Nipote starred for four seasons as "Frankie Waters," the expert mechanic who lovingly cares for the Dodge Viper in VIPER, the one hour weekly action series produced by Pet Fly Productions, in association with Germany's Kirch Group.

During the last season, Joe portrayed a very old senior citizen in the episode "Once a Con." In order to make Joe look old, a rubber cast was made of his face. Along with terrific acting skills and the casted mask, the finished product was astonishing.

Curb Your Enthusiasm

TV Series

Joe's latest television appearance was on HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm.  He played the restaurant owner "Primo." While in the midst of a relationship battle between Larry and his wife Cheryl, Primo is forced to choose between Larry and Cheryl as to who he will let dine at his restaurant.

Joe Nipote Guest Starred as Primo the owner of a swanky Italian Restaurant who refuses Larry a table, on Curb Your Enthusiasm the final year. The episode was called, "The Tivo Guy."

Zack & Cody: Suite Life on Deck

Joe starred as Uncle Marco on Disney's "Zack & Cody: Suite Life on Deck" in the episode titled "When in Rome."

JOE NIPOTE plays Uncle Marco complete with Italian Accent in this episode called "When In Rome" it was the last season of Suite Life On Deck!

Joe Nipote guest starred as Candace Bergen's "Secretary number 48, Rocky Road", Nipote was supposed to portray a "self-absorbed secretary - would-be comic from hell," but his performance proved so funny, he was asked repeatedly by the director to be "less funny."

Joe Nipote guest starred as "Joe" in the episode "Little Italy" that aired in 1995.

It's True

Joe plays the loveable troll "Uther," as well as "Nick" the Cappuccino guy in "It's True," a pilot for CBS by Pet Fly Productions that unfortunately never got a chance.

In this episode Joe plays an Italian restaurant owner "Carlino" direct from Southern Italy who is pursued by Cindy Williams to donate his restuarant for a charity to "Save the Oceans."

Normal Life

      Originally from Southfield, Michigan, Joe Nipote began his stand-up career in 1980. From headlining comedy clubs across the country, Joe became a favorite opening act for many headliners in Vegas, Reno, Tahoe, and Atlantic City for such artists as Tina Turner, Captain & Tenille, The O'Jays, Dwight Yokum, Judy Collins, Barbara Mandrell, Robert Goulet, Frankie Avalon, Ben Vereen and many, many more. Joe went on to host WRIF in the morning for a year in 1987. His hunger for stand-up and acting drove him out of the radio booth and back out to LA where he quickly landed the co-starring role on the Paramount series "Viper" in which he played, "Franklin 'Frankie' Xavier Waters" for all four and a half seasons. Joe went on to star in the movies, "Casper", "Soul's Midnight", "The Fourth Tenor" & "Back by Midnight" (Rodney Dangerfield's last 2 movies) and of course "Meatballs II" in which he starred as "Boomer". Joe just recently starred in "HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm" & Disney's "Zack & Cody, The Suite Life On Deck". Joe recently Guest-Starred on DIRECTV's new Drama, KINGDOM, and his new children's book, Eggy Yolk And The Dirty Rotten Dozen™  is out and  available at www.EggyYolk.com.
